The Goodyears

No folks...not talking about some spankin new tires.... I am of course, talking about a family I have the wonderful opportunity to photograph about 2 weeks ago down in Palm Bay.

Cameron and Keri are engaged and are ready to get married in March. They really wanted some family photos of themselves with Cameron's son Chase, so I got the chance to capture them.

The three of them are not only confident, but they are a very very handsome family, so capturing their outer beauty was no problem. Their inner beauty was just as simple. They are a very laid back, caring, and loving family. They are very sincere and always want to help people out, and their personalities showed. We trailed off into the woody area to get some shots and get a "lil" dirty. Although....I think i lucked out since I was the only one to really get in the dirt...how does that always happen?
I almost sat on a cactus (don't ask...) and cut my knee pretty good on a small branch on the ground that I didnt see when I was crouching...but no worries. All that matters was that the shots came out great.

Thanks so much Cameron, Keri and Chase for being great sports, I can't wait to work with you all again!

Mark and Kelly a.k.a-My Parents

My parents came down the other day to spend the day with me and decided they wanted to have their photos done. So we did them right in my yard and had fun too! You should see some of the outtakes....but I can't post them because they will probably kill me for it haha.

Amanda and Steve....So funny!

Amanda, Steve, and I went to a park in Cocoa to do their photoshoot and man, we had a hilarious time.

Let me just tell you, I know Amanda from my office building. She is a mortgage broker and her husband Steve is a General contractor. When we first started the shoot, we were just loosening up, but once we got going....it became very hilarious, very quickly. Steve was making goofy faces and we all just couldn't stop laughing. It made for a very fun time, and some really awesome photos to boot.
They are a very cute and loving couple and I can't wait to work with them again!

Phillip and Steffanie

June 14th I had an engagement shoot with a wonderful couple named Phillip and Steffanie. They have been engaged for about 4 months at the time of the shoot and their wedding planning was in full swing with a date of March 2009! A little shy at first, they opened up in no time and we had a great time going all around the park in Cocoa. What a beautiful park too! I can't believe I didn't know about it before this meeting. They are a beautiful couple and I can't wait to see them again in the future!

Amanda and Nick

I was able to photograph a couple named Amanda and Nick on June 13th right here in Titusville.
I got to the park early and just a little later, these two showed up! They are so cute...very similar in height difference like myself and my husand (him 6'0 and me 5'0) so I related well to them just from that. Nick works down the road from the park at the water plant and they both are UCF fans. Originally we were going to be showing some love to UCF, but that plan was changed and we did a more traditional shoot there around the park. These two are so cute, very giggly and happy and they were a pleasure to shoot. Take a look at some of their photos!

Busy bee!

Whew, what a busy few weeks I have had. I am working on a new website so that will be coming in the next month or so. I love it and can't wait for all of you to see it!

As some of you may know, Amanda McMahon Photography is going through many changes. Not only in website, but in packaging, logo, business supplies and much more. Hopefully you will all love the change as much as I do.

Some new things you will see on the website:

- A testimonials page ( comments and reviews from a few of those I have photographed or just has wonderful things to say)...I appreciate it SO much!

-New logo ( i have been working and improving on one for a while now and I think I am satisfied...for now!.....mind always changes, but this should be a keeper for a while!)

- New colors!!! I think I might keep this a surprise......you will have to wait and see. Just check this blog out for a hint (the main colors are on here.....)

-More photography! Always shooting, always updating :)

- MUSIC! I have a few awesome songs picked out and I think they fit what I do perfectly.

I really hope you all check back soon or as often as you'd like to see new updates. The new site SHOULD be done by July 20th....maybe even sooner!

There is also a few new posts coming from a shoot I did in Titusville with a couple named Amanda and Nick as well as an engagement shoot with a couple named Phillip and Stefanie as well as a shoot I was asked to do for The Successful Contractor Magazine, summer 2008 issue!

Downtown Jacksonville with Nicole and Allen!

I met with the very anxious Nicole and laid back Allen in Jacksonville on May 14th.

Nicole was so excited to finally have professional photographs taken of her and her boyfriend of 4 years, Allen. I can sure tell you I was glad to help. We explored downtown Jacksonville and had an awesome time. I never knew Jacksonville was so loaded with great photography opportunities...even the library was amazing to shoot in and around. I am definitely excited to be able to shoot up there again.
